Inquiry Blog #3
The theme of this week was ‘guided meditations’ and I’ve had a very positive experience with it in relation to mindfulness. Guided meditation can be a great way to step aside and take time for yourself, calm down, or regain focus. I’ve attached photos of my 2 journal entries for the week as well as a summary for each entry.

Summary: I really enjoyed my first guided meditation day. I felt instantly more relaxed as soon as the audio started playing. I was a bit skeptical about guided meditation though, especially it being used in a classroom, because of those that have trouble focusing and staying still and how they might not necessarily be able to do this.

Summary: I continued to enjoy the guided meditations throughout the week but noticed that some days were easier than others. I tried out different times and environments. Guided meditations are beneficial under various different circumstances and can be a good option to have in a classroom. Even when it’s hard to focus or stay still, guided meditations can still work for, and benefit someone.
